I got a personally engraved necklace with Lily's footprints on it last year from My Forever Child. Eventually, I'd really like to get one with her handprint. I love the work that My Forever Child does (it seriously looks just like her prints!) But, I am wondering if anybody else has recommendations for where to get personally engraved jewelry like this? I would really like it to be not just her print, but somewhat indented into the necklace (if that makes sense). And My Forever Child doesn't do it like that. I'd appreciate any and all feedback!

I had my son's footprints turned into a logo and then engraved at Things Remembered (its in a lot of Malls) onto several items. I could also have words put on things. It is just an engraving but its nice hat now his footprints are on file and I can go into any things remembered store and have them put on anything in the store. Actually my parents were able to go and have his footprints put on a locket for me, because they had the name the footprints logo was under :)

ReplyDeleteI used Thumbies—the woman, Anna...she is AMAZING. A true, true compassionate heart...I don't know about discounts or such, but you could certainly ask. She was really a very kind woman. And, I love, love, love my necklace. I wear it every day. I think Jill Alderman also used them and they were able to do a double sided something for Chase and Emma? Anyway...loved Thumbies. I got Matthew's footprint and had to get the oval because his foot was soooooo long! ♥ It has his name and birthday on the back. I adore it. I wear it every day and it has held up pretty well.

ReplyDeleteMine is a thumbie, I wear it every day. I kinda want another one of her feet now, I just got her handprint since I already had a copy of her footprint from the hospital. Glad I didi or I may never have gotten her handprints!
